Am I the only one who doesn't see the recon photos? '
Do you see them here? Clickeable?

I'm running chrome, I can see all Pan's photo's from since he was 7.
+1 but it comes and goes this annoying Chrome thing .
Not sure whats happening. I usually see the cracked JPG but on the post above I see the clickables and get what DS gets, invalid blah blah.
Tried Chrome and Firefox with a no go.
Next time I fire up the PC and play I'll try it with IE there.
Either way looking forward to this.
That sounds like the attachment was made on the private side of the forum and the link copy/pasted here.
Since you don't have permissions on the private forum side, you can't see the attachment either.
It will have to be re-uploaded here in the open.
I did try in both chrome and IE and I can't see the picture.
They were taken from a private internal forum and as ATAG_Colander said can't be viewed due to that .
Cheers for that.
I hadn't actually read any further down from Spiritus' post, when I asked Spiritus the question.
The new map is good fun, but if I had the recce pictures before hand, I could have saved myself the 4 x Ju88 sorties that I did to try and take out the target, now I know what the actual target is!!!! LOL
As a note for everybody, if you get a chance, watch the explosion of the Gravesend fuel depot as it is apocalyptic!!
In addition, the flak is the best I have seen around targets for preventing any loitering at low level.
I certainly for one appreciate the effort.
Regards
Haza
I post a completely new thread for the briefings. Sorry I was not aware of that problem.
My apologies

Thanks for building another map.
Well done.

Played this map last night for the first time. Couple of questions/observations:
1. It appeared that the Front Lines scripting was bugged as landing in the channel in the water resulted in 'friendly/enemy territory' messages rather than ones regarding drowning/rescue/swimming to shore/etc.
2. Ju87s were available to the Red team from Hawkinge. That seemed...odd. Is this an oversight?
3. The Tab 7-1 system is the only radar system available on this map, yes? Is the player operated radar (the sophisticated one Colander created) on the map?
Thanks for the head up.
1. some areas in the channel are not neutral.
2. Ju87 corrected for Hawkinge
3. no Colander special Tab-7-1

If you want, I can update the mission for you to have a more advanced version of the frontlines system.
Using Red, Blue, and Neutral territory you can make it so that players who bail out over the water get custom messages for landing in water with chances of rescue, etc. If you adjust your frontline markers so that the Red territory keeps a certain distance from the coastline, you can also make it so that players who bail out over the water 20 feet from shore can swim to the beach instead of drowning (very frustrating if you've tried to bring a damaged aircraft home and just fallen short).
The code for it is in the Finest Hour mission uploaded to the downloads section if you want to have a look yourself, but it wouldn't make sense with the frontlines as you have them now so they'd need to be adjusted (swimming to shore from mid channel is a little unlikely).

is there any way to remove or disable those nasty pop up messages "watch your language, avoid friendly fire" etc. it really ruins immersion.

Yes there is, but I put it in intentionally.
I think its important to have at least one map in the cycle reminding new folks and shenanigans of our two basic rules ...
