I've visited the Central Finland aviation museum. Really great place if you are in the area of Jyväskylä.

Are you sure this is an F-4?

Finns never acquired F-4's... the first model they received from the Germans was the G-2... they later received some G-6's.

Ok this is one of the JG5 109F's based at Petsamo and which were abandoned, and then seized by the Finns after they signed an armistice with the Soviets in '44 and attacked the Germans to expel them from Finland.

As far as I know these were not flown in combat by the FAF as they didn't have the spare parts supply system for them... they only had the parts for the G-2/G-6's which they had purchased from the Germans when they were allied.

The one posted in the link, showing the 360 view of a cockpit is a G-6 (MT-507).

Another option to be 100% sure could be this...apart the fact that it's a little bit expensive as solution...Anyone here have $6.0 Million USD left for spare in his wallet?

If you look closely at that 'For Sale' page, you will notice the aircraft is listed as having a DB605A engine... the F-4 had a DB601E engine.

Unclear if that engine was sourced from another wrecked aircraft or was surplus and acquired separately... or if this was an F-4 returned to the factory and rebuilt as a G model.

There were no F-4's built or flown with DB605A engines. DB601E engines are very rare, there were many more DB605A's built, so maybe they are trying to restore it with the later engine.

Yep, in addition is also reported that the instruments are " basic " so I highly doubt too that the aircraft is close to its original conditions. Probably the aircraft have lots of " cannibalized parts " coming from other Bf 109s.

Somehow I've recently bought a book about the German cockpits in photo-detail ( It should arrive in some days hopefully ).
When it will arrive, if there will be some photos of interest about the F-4 cockpit, I will send them to you via PM ( Due to the fact that I presume that the images will be under copyright so I will not share them here publicly )

Just saw this... if you need pictures of any of the aircraft in Ottawa - let me know and I'll talk to the Museum and see if I can get access. Earlier the staff let me get close to the He-162 to take pictures - but they wouldn't let me open the cockpit (however, I hadn't made an appointment or talked to curators - I just showed up with a camera)... so it is quite possible I could get them to open the canopy.
