IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 / 3840 x 2160 ?

How can i make it work at 3840 x 2160 ? Do i need some mods / patches ?
I have the version 4.09

I think if you patch up to the latest one , you can have the resolution you want.

The game wont start anymore, with the patch 4.13

you have downloaded all of the patches and installed them all??Did you also try each version by starting a quick mission.In that way you can see that that version is installed correctly.

Ok, i have now 3840 x 2160, thanks God
Now, the hardest part. I want to install some mods ( graphics / terrain, etc ) What would you recommend ? I play only single player.
There are so many versions of mods, i'm confused.
HFSX ? SAS Madact ?

that is something I can't give you any advise.I still have Il2-1946 installed but also Clod.And once you have seen how beautiful Clod look when you fly, it is a bit dissapointing how IL2-1946 looks.Maybe here> http://www.sas1946.com/main/ you can find something about it.
Iam sorry I can't help you with it, but maybe someone comes along who can give any advise.

Have you tried to altered this in conf.ini file?
you just punch the resolution there . you find it among the first lines in the file.
I find IL 2 better regarding maps than many other sim of today. Many have been retextured. You just need to download them
