I thought I had seen most of notable WW2 air warfare Documentaries but recently came across The Fighting Lady on cable TV down here.

Excellent colour footage of carrier ops and probably most poignantly USN personnel of various trades/ranks including several who were KIA. The colour gun cam footage is good too.

I'd seen some of this gun cam footage in other docs but didn't know it came from this film.

It's available via free download according to the wiki entry above - well worth checking out if u like WW2 pacific carrier stuff and haven't seen it before.
