IL-2 !946 missions for HSFX and UP 3.0

Posted this in here and off topic.

My missions historical planesets,sqdns,briefings, that are co-ops but they can be played as stand alone missions.

All planes are fully functional and have waypoints and objectives just start the mission as a co-op and play.

Just go to HSFX co-op and Ultrapack co-op sections.

So what happens if you can only get latest steam version of the game? Don't you need 4.12.2 to make all this stuff work?

HSFX installer requires 4.12.2 as a base; Ultrapack is (I think) based on 4.10 (perhaps try searching here for details).

Steam is an option, but not the only one; gog.com also lists Il-2 '46, offering 4.10 or 4.13 d/loads; there is a utility to 'downgrade' at the above site, somewhere.

Also suggest looking here for help/ideas; my preference was the 4.10 option from gog.com, then '412_MegaPatch' from m4t then HSFX703 (also at m4t).

Ok that's a huge help thanks emmett. I was trying to install my good old disk again but it just wouldn't go. It would stop on this "earasing files" or something like that, it would get to 21% and stop.

Coppied my disk contents to a folder and instaled it from the folder..Installed the huge mega patch all is well lol

Well after all of this I still like the old Ultra Packs more. I seem to have crashes no with HSFX and pack in the Hyperlobby days Spits V 109s it seemed it was always Ultra Packs wasn't it? I guess there is a big advantage with missions in HSFX. Plus the only way I can get the right install to start is copy and paste the disk then install it. It doesn't like installing from the drive
