There should be a law that dictates that a sliding scale of profits from sequels should be used to fund at least 1 AAA rated historic war film every 5 years. The scale of duty is assessed by a panel of film critics and based upon the reliance of the sequel's appeal on the single joke or contrivance that made the first film a success.
