    Hi all, I’ve just bought CloD & Tobruk and I’m trying to volunteer for VR beta testing - unfortunately the iL-2 forums have me stuck awaiting moderator approval for posting and DMs, so I thought I’d try contacting Buzzsaw here instead.

    'Passion for Flight?' You are absolutely right. We are besotted with 'all things aviation' here but, in particular, with WWII War birds. Cliffs of Dover fits in perfectly because many of us believe that it has some of the best flight modelling in the sim world. My own passion with war birds began back in 1968, when, returning from school, I was thrilled to see three Heinkel 111's flying low over our Married Quarter at RAF Coltishall. It was the aircraft preparing to land on the airfield to refuel, so they could continue filming out in the North Sea. My Dad was Duty Controller in the Tower that day and gave me a blow by blow account of all the aircraft....Spits, Hurricanes, Buchon 109's, the Heinkels and the Mitchell Camera Ship, all coming in from the east coast, forming a huge armada! Exciting stuff!

    Now, thanks to TFS and Cliffs, I get to join in for real. Well...nearly!

    Enjoy your setting up and training. Don't forget to read the 'Manuals' and 'Getting Started Guide' to be found in the actual game menu....and if you still have problems or questions....post here on the Forum and we'll try and help you out. If you fancy a 'wing up' and tour of the multiplayer servers....with a chance to ask questions, I'm your man. Just 'ping' me a private message on the Forum when you're ready and we can fix a time. But above all....have fun...and see you in the CloD Skies! Salute!
