Long time flight simmer here with a couple thousand hours in BMS, DCS, and FS9/FSX/P3D and a host of other flying sims/games. The last time I flew any WW2 sim was European Air War in the late 90's. Recently, I had a buddy share his steam library with me and decided to give IL-2 a try and fell in love. Hope you guys plan on keeping the ATAG server going for a while!
Very new to CLOD, learning as I go, but so far I like what I see. Lots of help from Cam to get set-up.

Hello to everybody, rookie pilot of IL21946 and CoD from Spain, trying to learn a bit more about flight sims.
Vickers Wellington Mk1c. OJ-F P2517 'F for Freddie' of No.149 Squadron, star of 'Target for Tonight' directed by Harry Watt released in July 1941.
Freddy prepares for an air test prior to departure from Ford on ops with No.149 Squadron for a daring daylight attack on Marshalling Yards in Caen France 31\1|21. ATAG Operation Milk Run. Target destroyed. Six Wellingtons, One Blenheim together with
their Spitfire escort returned safely. One Wellington crashed on landing at Ford.

Just making a post to download some files, also wanted to thank the ATAG team for there hard work.
Hallo Leute spricht denn keiner Deutsch hier... mein englisch is echt Kacke...
ATAG hat einen kleinen deutschen Forumsbereich.
Willkommen!
Morning all,
After years of watching CLoD on YouTube and DCS, I have finally invested in a gaming PC and downloaded Cliffs of Dover Blitz last night so will be spending the next few weeks in elementary flying training before acting as a target for the Luftwaffe online!
Great to see such a positive online community!
This is my first post.
Hello Broadsword a big welcome to this awesome community and to the ATAG forum. Nice to hear that you have decided to join us on the flight line as it is always great to have new pilots.
If you have any questions or require help with anything just post on this forum. Better still if you have Team Speak go to the ATAG channel and ask on there as other pilots are always happy to help.
I hope your flying training goes well, CloD does have a steep learning curve. As soon as you feel ready jump online, ATAG Axis v Allies server, as learning will be so much quicker that way.
This is all about having fun with like minded people. Welcome to the party and hope to see you online very soon.

'Broadsword calling Danny Boy.......Broadsword calling........
Yeh....ok Broadsword! We get it! Danny Boy, here!..........Fantastic that you've found us! Your back story would fit exactly into any of our own. i.e. Found Cliffs online...thought: 'My God! That's exactly what I've been looking for!' Spend a year flying single Player in training before going online, then realising that the past year, though not exactly wasted, was a little unnecessary because 'online....flying alongside friends...is the PLACE TO BE!...and where you learn fastest! That was my story...and many others besides!
So, in short, down load Team Speak (our communication server) and join us in Multiplayer, sooner, rather than later. Numbers on the servers are a little down at the moment but that's because many of us are spending a lot of time 'testing' towards the release of the next exciting installment of the flight sim. You may know that TFS who rescued the sim from it's very incomplete state when first released, have been improving and extending the sim ever since and are still hard at it! Masses of progress has been made already! Exciting things are soon to follow so tell your friends.....we're all in for a ball!
I hope we get to fly together in the skies of Cliffs soon. Good luck! If you need any help (or a wing man?) just post here and we'll be cueing up to help! Salute!
Good morning broadsword_82. Great first post, and like Vamps said getting Teamspeak and a Headset with a mic will greatly help you when you need help. It will also turn your first online experience much more enjoyable as well. We love seeing and helping new pilots get their feet wet( not just making you bail out over the channel) Feel free to ask any questions you have over TS or in the forums. We will all do our best to help you out and give you valuable tips and tricks. Enjoy this Sim, you have definitely decided to jump in at a great time, with the TFS 5.0 North African expansion in Alpha testing!
Cheers

Hi HarroG
Good to meet you along with a lot of new guys/gals who've shown up lately . I can't see why you think multiplayer is dead . It's been a little quieter of late maybe
but over the last week I've seen all the servers well attended and a lot of new names appearing . Alive and kicking I'd say and great fun as well !
