Done?
Greetings from a newcomer!
Hello! Back to the Flight sims recently
Hi everyone,
Looking forward to getting stuck into a juicy campaign.
Hi hello
After first release of COD Hardware changed and program itsel getting so nice.
I hope continuing this way.
Thanks.
First post, this site looks like a great resource for CLOD! Thanks.
Not a robot either - but an IL-2 player since 2002 Somehow I'd managed to avoid CloD until very recently however, so I am here to pick up some content. Thanks for great work on the site - I already see lots of familiar faces here!
I find clod keyboard maping and see it here.
Many thanks.

What a fantastic game and community!
Looking forward to joining you all when I improve a bit.
Hello all!!
I miss my nice auto-piloted/friendly skys FSX Boeings...you know, nice meals and cute flight attendants...but no I choose to strain my Trackir neck in rickety warbirds while a Messerschmitt pilot doesn't even break a sweat or have to zoom to a gunsight to rake my unsuspecting butt out of the sky.
Been shot down twice and strafed on the ground once already. I also flew in a 40 person server for an hour over the target area and didn't see one other plane the whole time...time to get TeamSpeak up and running me thinks.
This whole CloD online experience has been quite daunting but as Viper said, 'Keep sending him up!!'
first post thanks
Hey Bundy. No guessing where you are in QLD mate.
Great to have another Aussie on board.
There are a lot of us here nowadays.
Let ua know if you need a hand getting set up.
As Maverick mentions, teamapeak is very handy.
Cheers,
Pattle

Hi I've been getting back into the flight sims again for the last 5-6 months, I used to play 'Chocks Away' on the acorn archimedes at school, and then Red Ace Flying Squadron at some point.
Am enjoying getting into it all and have been getting into the IL2 stuff.........1946 with VP modpack (wow it's amazing!), and recently got BOS, I decided to look at online options and got a good vibe form the Cliffs of Dover which seems to have a pretty dedicated following despite it's rocky past/start.
Enjoying it, but having to fiddle about quite a bit to get things working - am currently doing the navigation mission reading/worthing/swindon - really finding it annoying not to see the gyro and compass over the stick!!!
Hope to see you all online sometime soon I'll pop into the teamspeak.
I am Scottish by the way, from Glasgow.
Nathan
Hi Nathan........great post .....thanks for sharing! Lots of us enjoy cross country navigation using maps and dead reckoning. This is particularly exciting in a Blenheim at low level, dodging the flak and fighters. I use rivers, roads, towns and woods and generally reach the target (though rarely get back to land LoL!)
I know the compass in the Spitire and Hurricane are not too useful (but I know you are very aware of that!) so I tend to use my knowledge of the landscape to not get lost. It doesn't take long to build up that knowledge.....and it's a great challenge anyway!
Great to have you with us. Yes, Team Speak is a fantastic addition to the sim and I'm very pleased you plan to download it. I wouldn't want to be without it now! Looking forward to seeing you 'up there' in our virtual skies! Salute!
Hi, this is my first post, have been away from flight sims for a while and am predominantly a single player. I found your site while searching for campaigns for Cliffs Over Dover Blitz.

Hi guys, I've been flight simming for years, but never dabbled in online multiplayer combat. I had the original IL2 Sturmovik which was fantastic at the time but never carried on with the series until I picked up pre-TF IL2 CLOD which we all know had it's problems. DCS and ROF were the only combat sims I really played for years until I recently decided to look at IL2 CLOD Blitz that I noticed had appeared for free in my Steam list. This is now a great sim but is seriously let down by the AI so I guess the next step is to try my hand at online flying. I find prospect of joining an online server strangely daunting but will endeavour do so in the near future, time to sort out TeamSpeak I guess.
Matt
AI is being worked on....
In the mean time... dive on in to multiplayer
A friendly crew.... and anyone who isnt gets booted out the door... so make yourself at home.

Hi Mat......good to have you here and great that you found us! Fill yer boots! You are making the right decision to try multi player. I was just like you and flew single player for two years when I first got the sim but after a while the AI aircraft failed to excite...became too predictable and so I began to watch all these vids on You Tube and thought: 'I've got to try that!
I did and got shot down into Dover Harbour within five minutes of taking off from Lympne but it was too late.....I was hooked and vowed to get better. I downloaded Team Speak and found the Community so friendly and helpful that I got totally sucked in and two years later I'm still flying.......still getting shot down but having my own successes, too......and against other competent human pilots that means something!
Get Team Speak downloaded (It's free, first class and all the info is on this Forum) and come and join us.....please! Any probs and send us all a post and we'll get you sorted! See you in the virtual skies very soon! Salute!
Thanks for help
Thanks for your support!
Hi, first post to download single player missions to practice before I'll go on server.
Thanks.
CloD addiction reared its head again. Have to fly, need new missions!
