From TFS facebook, a comment on the images

Small selection of images of the ongoing work on the P-40E. First two without paintscheme, second two with a basic paint-scheme (no texture, detail, bump map, etc, etc)

Are we forced to see always only the development images of these crap RAF flying bicycles? ( I'm just joking!!! )

Any pics about Luftwaffe aircraft development?

Wowoweewah!....I am hoping the word gets out to all those US warbird flight simmers we lost after '46...when they see this bird they are sure gonna want to fly it...It looks so good...

I'll make an olive US historical skin for them too as soon as we get it ingame...

    Exciting times!

Not in TF5 as it simply doesnt fit the chosen time frame. That's probably something a follow up patch will cover.

The P40 looks like it's coming along nicely, great job by all at TFS

Haven't flown a P40 since I used to play IL2 Forgotten Battles, so looking forward to jumping in the cockpit of this beast again

As Karaya says, because the scenario is primarily set in the Desert in Libya/Egypt in 1940-41, the FW190A doesn't really fit in.

    - The 'Wurger' did not see service in Libya/Egypt, it made its first appearance after the TORCH invasion in Tunisia.

    - We would like to have included the 190A-1/A-2 with the early model BMW801C engine with its reliability problems,... it appeared in small numbers in the fall of '41, but it would be a lot of work, and only useful on the Channel map. We are already delaying things for the P-40's... which are crucial for the Libya/Egypt campaigns, and we don't want to slow TF 5.0's release any further.

For both those reasons, the 190A will be delayed till TF 6.0.

@Buzzsaw would be possible to know the right period for the patch? We are talking of winter '40 - winter '41?

Last year they show pictures of Spitfire Vs with vokes filters, so i guess its up to summer 42 if they will be included in patch.

It depends what map you are using... for the Desert map, June 1940, (when Italy declared war) till approx. June 1942.

For the Channel map... November 1940 till July 1941.
