    VirPil MongoosT-50 HOTAS

Grip based on Sukhoi PAK FA (T-50) grip. Part of new HOTAS and pedal under development, check their web-site. Made in high quality plastic (similar to CH) Warthog compatible.

MongoosT-50 Stick Grip - When design becomes art.

For a very long time it has been the grip that many virtual pilots have dreamed of. Some have tried to create it, but none have succeeded; it eventually became legend.

And now, that long awaited moment is finally here, we present to you the VPC MongoosT-50 Russian fighter jet grip!

Like a sculptor chipping away at marble, we have skillfully worked on our design to create a masterpiece; A true work of engineering art.

Featuring a wide array of controls, including:

    • Dual-stage Trigger
    • Folding Trigger
    • 5 Buttons
    • Two 4-way Hats
    • Two 2-position Switches
    • Analog Brake Lever (in Warthog works as digital button, since their base don't provide support for extra axis, in VirPil base can be axis, button or both).

The ergonomic design also includes an adjustable wrist rest catering for a wide range of hand sizes, allowing long play sessions without experiencing discomfort.

After enduring extensive testing by experienced virtual pilots across the most popular simulators, we are confident in our design.

The VPC MongoosT-50 stick grip will be released February 2017 at a price of €159,00 which includes the TMW adapter.

Stay tuned for further announcements at the www.virpil.com website.

I would also like to invite all to follow us on Facebook @ https://www.facebook.com/VirPilControls/
    "British brake" lever, analog.

    Re: VirPil MongoosT-50 HOTAS

Contacted them, they was not able to help me on juste the stick with no base. The base contain their interface that get their buttons to work. I guess it is to much work and money to segregate this for one user
Well my CF grip works fine, this was just a bit cooler CF produce grips for all business and I think this is why this brand is used on my stick

    Re: VirPil MongoosT-50 HOTAS

I am interested in this if I can adapt the base for my VKB Black Mamba. Since I have a spare Mamba Warthog adapter it should be possible to physically do it. Once that is done its just a matter of creating a configuration for it using the VKBConfig tool. Hmmmmmm...

    Re: VirPil MongoosT-50 HOTAS

    Invictus,

Electrically no problem, since T-50 came with Shift Register circuit inside, this make then compatible with Warthog base - and depends on your Mamba version too.
More recent Mambas models need that 3 to 5 wire converter circuit.

The connector in T-50 base is PS2 - to be Warthog compatible, same on Mamba.

The question is how this grip will fit physically there.

Yes, I know that's the biggest question at this point. Might be worth the risk.

I for sure would not know how to choose between Gunfighter and this if that had been the case. For DCS I would have chosen this, but for COD and Bos I really cannot tell

Although both based in CAM center system, Gunfighter is a steep ahead with this new "dry clutch" system.

To not say that VKB gimbals are constantly updated, fixing flaws, adding improvements.

This VirPil still need to prove yourself. Too early for make comparisons.

    Re: VirPil MongoosT-50 HOTAS

For complete the "MongoosT50 HOTAS", the VPC throttle.

Notice that is not a "replica" like Tm versions, but based on T50 (Su-57) prototypes, adapted to "flight games" needs.

    VIRPILControls, on 13 Oct 2017 - 07:21, said:
► Introducing the VPC MongoosT-50 Throttle

The full feature set includes a huge number of controls surfaces and configuration possibilities that will surely satisfy even the most avid of virtual pilots!

    Re: VirPil MongoosT-50 HOTAS

T50 has a more "badass" look option - more black, Cyrillic's labels, the T50CM.

    Introducing the VPC MongoosT-50CM Grip

Today VIRPIL Controls are pleased to introduce the next evolution of the VPC MongoosT-50 Grip, the MongoosT-50CM (Серийная модернизированная / “Standard Upgraded”) Grip.

This grip aims to more accurately replicate the look and feel of the real grip based on suggestions we’ve received from the community. Changes include:
    Russian Button Labels
    Remodelled Brake Lever
    Remodelled Flip Trigger
    Remodelled Buttons
Black Hats, Main Trigger and Wrist Rest
The VPC MongoosT-50CM will be available for 179.95 EUR from 30th October.

Other changes in the VPC MongoosT-50 Grip lineup based on popular demand is that we will also begin offering a left hand VPC MongoosT-50 LH Black Edition also from 30th October.

Finally, there will also be a price drop on the standard VPC MongoosT-50 Grip to 139.95 EUR!

    Stay tuned for future announcements!

    Regards,
    VPC Team
The foldable trigger more width reflect players wishes.

    Re: VirPil MongoosT-50 HOTAS

Hi all im currently in Belfast at min visiting my old haunts. So havnt been flying recently however before i went i bought a virpil mongoose base and mounting bracket and put the warthog grip on it. I have flown quickly with it but would like to see what the other cams are like as i am using the default fitted ones. Problem is i dont know what cams are what i know they have little drlled marks on them to denote which is no centre cam and hard centre cam etc. I cant find anywhere on virpil site telling me what is what. Btw i am really pleased with the base it is so responsive, so much so that it will take some time to get used to it. It is really super sensitive but so accurate. Any help on the cams would be appreciated

VirPil representive (Cyph3r) is active in DCS Forum (or Redit/HOTAS), ask your question there, as well more early VPC users hang in that forum.

You know you're getting older when the "hottest" thing you look for on line is a HOTAS.......

What we used to look for was spelled a bit differently, had more curves, and pushed different buttons!

But, damn yes, those Mongoos look nice
