    taking off as single player missing something

    hi,
    1) i plot a 4 wp take and landing and tick the right spots in waypoints window ,set as pilot , save mission but i find myself in the air .
    2) i get the following message when plotting as well "chief 0-chief" contains only one waypoint , did you forget to set NPC flag,what does that mean ?
    3) is there a tutorial for the use of spawn points and what are they for?

    Think this "chief0" is vehicle, look if you put any in mission.

    hello
    i made mistake of using moving vehicle instead of static. why my missions start in the air can you explain pls? is there no personnel objects in this sim for scenery purposes ? where can i read about the spawn points and how to use them example ai flights in mission take off ? i want to take off from rivets taxi to take off style where can i read how to do it ?

    For you take of make sure that in the first waypoint this option is selected.

    tks lokos, i tried taxi to take off with 4 in squadron and we all appear in hangar,then i placed them in rivets and they all select a rivet , thats fine . How do i place them on the field spawn point 1 scramble style ? i dont see spawn points 0 on the field edges as starting point . i added scramble to parked in properties but they appear at begining of runway .

    For this scramble take-off you need create a new runway, and place new spawn points in the desire order.
    Will involve a lot of trial and error. Search for tutorials in Mission forum.

    This spawn point embed on airfields is always used from their high number for the lower, and some airfields has more than 50, they are harmful and useless.

    The best scenery is if TF was able to remove this embed spawn points leaving for Mission Makers place then in proper sites.

    so i must take off from runway . I agree they should remove these spawns points.In IL2 we do as we wish with taxi to take off,all my missions are with taxi to and with objects scenery all around it .

    Taxi in CloD don't worth, ground handling is bugged, and a 2 m/s wind act over planes with hurricane force. Is just headache.
