I use the CH Producet Pro throttle....No bells and whistles...Top of the range electronics and hardware...Even the cable and USB feel superior...Apart form the fact that there aren't any potentiometers in it apart from the one that controls the throttle input (My only gripe) it is a great bit of kit...I wouldn't part with mine for any other throttle...
An interesting thing about them which is different from most HOTAS throttle is that the action for the throttle movement is parallel as oppose to radial...Basically it slides as oppose to pivot...That doesn't take any getting use to..in actual fact you hand is at pretty much the same angle unlike most flight sim throttles...
I got mine from eBay for £30 unused...which was a bargain....having said that I would probably buy it for full price if mine was unrepairable...now I know just how good they are...
The only issue I did have with mine (which was easily remedied) was that it was loose in terms of throttle resistance...Basically when my hand was on it pressing other buttons I was inadvertently moving the actual throttle so I would sometimes look down and I was on 85% or something....I googled this issue and others had the same and there is an easy fix for it...
I have made a short tutorial on this fix below...

Also..in case you missed it there's a good thread here about joystick, throttle and hardware for reference here...

Haha I'm not sure how I didn't think to look on eBay. Thanks for the info, you guys are a bunch of beauties
You can add 2 pot and knobs using the axis connection for the "thumb stick" (analog device, axes) - this device has no use in "propeller sim", of course case you are addict of "kosmosimov", for these has use (6DOF).
Leave only a thumb button in place of thumb stick, since besides 2 axis his has one button (like in PS3 controllers).
Hi Mr S.
I'm sorry that i can't help you out in terms of handing over a throttle or pedals.
I'm just here to say that i live in the same province, and so will have a look to see if there's anything about for sale.
I have the CH throttle and stick. I have had them for a few years and have not yet had problems with the throttle resistance.
I have only used one other throttle and stick, and so can't give a subjective comparison to the other available products, but i can say that i have been completely happy with them, and from what i hear (probably jinxing myself here), they should give many years of excellent service.
I will PM you if i see anything available. Good luck with the hunt.
EDIT: Just checked kijiji and found nothing at all in Ontario.

"If you want to fly, give up everything that weighs you down"......
Well..I got mine on eBay but I had to wait a long time and they don't come up often..I mean I wasn't specifically looking for some they just happened to come up in one of my vague searches and I grabbed them instantly...If you are desperate to get some quick then I wouldn't count on eBay...There are other pre-owned websites around...check them too...
I wouldn't be concerned for a moment getting one that was 'used' either....They are very robust to start with and on top of that I think you can get the parts replaced too....
