Thanks to the Community for their Support... We're starting work with the Source Code

    Salute to All

Team Fusion is happy to report we now have the Source Code in our possession, all 29.2 gb of it.

This of course, is really what this agreement with 1C is about for TF, a chance to have all the tools to fix the game properly... in our hands.

Thanks to Nikolay Baryshnikov and Jason Williams for their good faith and willingness to trust us with this very expensive piece of software.

Team Fusion also wants to thank the CLIFFS OF DOVER community once again... without you guys, TF would never have gotten this far.

It was the continued support and faith of the thousands of people who populate this forum who have kept our enthusiasm high and excited about this work.

If you guys had given up on this game, we'd have nothing to work for... the vote of confidence we got from you kept us going.

This really is a great community, the number of guys who are willing to spend their time helping out the noobs, willing to contribute their ideas and efforts has been critical.

The strong network of Squadrons and other organizations have made CLIFFS a success. Not only ATAG, which of course, has been leading, but organizations like the AIR COMBAT GROUP, and STORM OF WAR, (well maybe SoW not so much lately ) as well as the TWC group have contributed great campaigns and wars which have captured the interest of virtual flyers from everywhere.

To everyone who has chipped in and contributed to the building of this community, we offer our thanks.

We of course, have to warn everyone to temper their enthusiasm with a little realism... it will take some time to get familiar with the code, and there undoubtedly will be challenges, but we are confident all the obstacles can be overcome and we will achieve our goals, and have some shiny new toys for everyone to enjoy.

    Cheers to All!

This is really great and exciting news Buzz, thank you for sharing.

As for thanks I think that goes to you and all the others that make up Team Fusion.

If it wasn't for TF we wouldn't have this sim in the first place. You have definitely kept the dream alive and will, there is no doubt, make it come true!

We are all looking forward to a wonderful new era of CloD, TF 5.0 and beyond.

Best wishes for your endeavours and once again thank you all very much.

Great news Buzz, we appreciate the sacrifices and perseverance of the TF crew to make his happen. By no means an easy task and there must have been more than one point, where you and the crew questioned the wisdom of your involvement. It happens when it happens mate. We will be here when it does.

Perhaps you boys should reward yourselves in TF5 with a poster on a building wall somewhere in game with your names or a Statue with a plaque containing your names in a town somewhere. You guys certainly deserves some everlasting gesture for sure.

All been said before me. But never hurts to say thank you again to everyone involved with taking the game forward.

To think in Feb, i purchased an old game for £9.99, just for something different to do now and again.

Now i don't do anything else all day, literally.

Brilliant, look forward to the further progress reports.

    Best regards,
    Mike.

Many thanks to the TF(S) team for their great work and dedication!

If any game needed to be brought back to life, if only for it's historic relevance it is Cliffs of Dover!

I am looking forward to the future development and improvement of the game!

I do not know if this is the right thing to do but Nikolay Baryshnikov is on FaceBook, I think it might be cool to say thanks to him there?
