    Vintage throttles

    console_small.jpg

Custom made with GVL224 mechanics, optimized for WWII planes (so you don't need control your propeller pitch, radiators with "slew" or COMM switch).

    https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic...ttle-consoles/

BTW - GVL224 sales topic in SimHQ - for DIY parts or assembled throttles, customized (by some degree) as user want:

    "Pulleys" is optional item:

Wires, connections, felt pads... are inside the box, not visible.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BZvepcez8io

    https://forum.il2sturmovik.com/topic...le-gvl-bf-109/

Levers in laser cut metal, adjustable (internaly) friction, bearings in pivots, contact less sensor (KMZ41) in main axes.

GVL224 throttles is made under order, and is customizable at some degree, see other models in their Youtube channel.

His work looks incredible. Any idea how much a completed unit costs? I have been seriously looking at something like this.

    Re: Vintage throttles

    Make your own... It's easy!...

    Build time... I dunno.

    Up to you.

Arduino Leonardo board... £20... Or £5 for a cheap copy.

    A few diodes....

A mars sensor is expensive... but for s throttle... a good pot is enough...

Bung a few five turn pots in for some.trim wheels... Mine were about three quid from China. And work great. Or you can spend 30 quid a p.o. and get American ones... which are way way better.... but... It's no a real.plane so.....

It's not very hard at all.

Mine was 2 months. Part of that was waiting for Vitaly to be ready to discuss design details. Spend some time drawing up your layout. If your like me and not a CAD guru I used paint 3d with little screenshot pics of buttons to collage something together that Vitaly could make sense of it. The price will be based on how many and what kind of controls you want.

MaRS is name of sensor exclusive for VKB Njoy32 controller - work in encrypted digital bus.

But MagREZ (KMZ41) is affordable - and work in analog mode what make then compatible with any USB controller, GVL224 sell then assembled in PCB for $8 - probable less than a really good quality pot.

Or TLE5010 - digital mode, compatible with Arduino PRO Micro+MMjoy2,

    Or MLX90333 in analog mode.

GVL224 can sell only the mechanics (lever, bearing, support, friction...) for DIY see there:

    I didn't know that.

They are all basically hall sensors though aren't they? I didn't really know much about them at present as I've only used pots and sliders as axis controls in my stuff so far

Nice list. I'll have to look into a few of those sensors.
