Nice screenies there Milesy...Great to see you having fun there...

I need to do a short vid tutorial on those opaque info windows...I see a lot of folks flying with them interfering with the CLOD screen...and they literally take a couple minutes to rectify...

Great shots there, Miles! Thanks for sharing. I particularly liked the first two. You must have had to be very quick on the button to catch yourself falling out of the cockpit. The second free fall shot is almost artistic....and I like the way the in game chat is commenting on another parachute: 'Is it one of ours?' Salute!

    Hey Miles!

Do you know about track recording? You can start recording a track when you start a mission, then stop it at the end, then from "extras" in the main menu you can view the track file and hit the box that says "remove UI" and "edit views" and "edit time". Then you can go through and watch your mission from whatever camera angles you want and you can take screenshots without the info windows in the way. I (and many others) use it to make videos! Try it out sometime.

An example of what you can do with tracks: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=053J6iQz2oc

You see, Marlow, the first shot wasn't me. It was an AI pilot I shot down in the Operation Sealion campaign!

    Nice shots rmiles!!

As already said the first is quite sobering.

Have a look into Flare's suggestion and also have a look at this from Phil Style about the info windows until Lew gets his video sorted

Adding Screenshots and Images to private messages.

Gents. Anybody advise me how to add images and screenshots to private messages?

I follow the procedure as for adding screenshots to forum posts but when you click preview it does not show the image only text. Something is not right.
There is no guide to show how to do same with messages.

    Flak.

Vickers Wellington Mk1c. OJ-F P2517 'F for Freddie' of No.149 Squadron, star of 'Target for Tonight' directed by Harry Watt released in July 1941.

their Spitfire escort returned safely. One Wellington crashed on landing at Ford.

    Hi FLAK BOSS!

The best way is to use a 3rd party website to host the image. I use postimage, which is free, but imgur is another.

This way you get a URL.

In your PM insert [img][/img] and paste the URL link from the hosting site in between.

Also make sure you have 'Recipients' and 'Title' filled in otherwise you won't see anything other than the link in 'Preview'.

You should then get something like this this

    Hope this helps.

    Cheers
