I have several of my hotas interfering when I have to set them up. Anyone else have that problem. I tried to the last minute but no luck getting anything right. This is the 3. sim I currently have installed and only one that have this problem. I really wanted to take part in this event, since Saturdays almost always are a no no.
I am glad for the success tho

Might be the windows 10 joystick reshuffle issue. Windows 10 reorders your USB devices during certain updates, hibernation wake, or when you plug them back in a different order. You can mitigate with the last two, but updates are a stinker.

Unlike other sims, CLOD uses Windows' generic joystick number assignment name and not the USB device's PID serial number (or other hardware serialization), causing the seemingly random scrambles. I've also been hearing about users having problems with Warthog HOTAS.

My ISP went down on Saturday from lightning and they barely managed to get it up again before the meet.

As Zeb said about the peripherals being caused by Win 10.

Try this fix by Snapper. Think it might clear up the problem for you.

If not, there are several threads under the "peripherals" and similar headings that might be helpful.

Re: THE BLENNY BITES BACK! - 17th JUNE 2000UTC SERVER 1

    Great fight yesterday.

Unfortunately, without Boo some of our coordination efforts were lacking. Still, it was good fun, and good to keep our bombers in practice.

I estimated our Blenheim losses around 40. this was a direct result of our fighter support being overwhelmed. The handful of fighter escorts had a hand at winning the map, but we need to get these guys some help. Dedicated escort flight and long range interceptors will have to be improved for sure.

Our ability to taxi, take off, and collect is getting better every flight, and this has increased our sortie numbers allowing for more destruction. Airfield mishaps have dramatically dropped, too.

We may have won this battle, but as far as stats go, we would not have won the war. That will change with every future mission, I recon.

Hopefully, we get some good videos of this attack. There were so many large battles this time around. Everyone on our comms were having fun, and at the end of the day, that's what motivates me to be a part of this.

Thanks to all who participate and make this community a better place.

    Cheers,
    DRock

Here is one of them ...
Just a few impressions on my part and of JG4 chit chat ...

It was another great evening on ATAG and I think we all had a lot of fun.
Thanks to all who participated and special thanks to Boo and DRock who made the whole possible.

Here's some screens. Looking forward to editing when I get some serious flu and can't work.

    Bombs out. Just in time!

I did find out seeing my replay and that of others that the hits I could definitely see on my replay did not show up on server or other's replays. My guns didn't even fire on Kiwi's replay (this one's of a half-cuban whilst firing my guns...in my dreams). ha

BIG thank you to Drock and the inner collective for making this happen in my absence. Thanks also to everyone who took part. Looks like a missed a doozy! Hope you enjoyed it.

I'll gauge the feedback from everyone over the next week once I back up and running on at least 2 cylinders and see how we can continue to with nights like this.

Perhaps next time either Stuka Loopy or an Italian Job?

    Kind Regards

    Both ideas sound interesting ...
Personally, I would also like to participate in a big Me110 event!

Would it be possible to collect some ideas and suggestions?

I too would enjoy a big Me110 event. Caught this one over French Point during the first raid on Calais. Me110 was not pleased. I lol'd.

My suggestion? Stay the hell away from the front of my Hurricane if you see the guns firing or you might never get home!

Thanks Boo for organizing this, and DRock for leading! I had a blast the whole way, and that first sortie was especially magnificent with a solid mission plan, good formation and fighter cover getting us in on both targets. I also think I accounted for the only takeoff foul-ups; I ended the first sortie with controls disabled and flying on trim, and forgot to re-center it before starting the 2nd. Lesson learned, 'check trim' added to my start-up checklist.

I will be pleased to take part in any more of these you do, especially Red-side.

    Haha!

May be my dear, but if you should be in front of the guns of a 110, you are probably shredded with your Hurry...

So, I've managed to grab some screenies from the first Sortie (only another 3 an a half hours left to go through).

I put em in an album rather than clutter this thread up too much, link is Boo's Boomers Part 1

For the Blenny nerd-noobs like myself out there concerned about burning up engines or keeping up with the formation, I added some additional data (which is probably more art than science, ha) in the main "How to fly the Blenheim" sticky. Sounds like, despite some hilarious setbacks, things are getting a little easier for the air bosses up there.

    Cheers.
