How far away is patch 4.5 from being available ?

Hi,
Mysticpuma advises me to wait until patch 4.5 appears before skinning, given the fun and games of having an RGB colour only to se the sim display something markedly different., trouble is I get limited windows in life, and I am keen to get on with my goal of correcting the Luft colours at least in my own CoD flights.
If I just sit back and shelve it, it might not happen for me, after all the work done on capturing the Luft charts as rgb, I cannot throw that away. Unless I know approx when 4.5 might appear.

If its imminent then maybe I hold fire, but I could do with some idea.

If 4.5 isnt going to fix the issue of RGB not appearing as designed on a colour calibrated screen/captured from a correctly taken photo, then I might as well carry on trial and erroring anyway.

Of it does make RGB appear in flight, then all the existing custom skins if not the entire CoD artwork file set will need altering anyway !

Just tinker around with the colors and see what happens in the game, then you'll start seeing that a true red looks like X in the game, and a true yellow looks like Y, so on. Then you will actually get an eye for what you are after. I wouldn't make a chart on colors yet.

No idea as it's been around the corner for like 2 years. I think aquiring the code delayed it as they rewrote a lot of the mods to native, rather than simply game file format. I hope it comes out soon, also getting ancy.

It is unlikely there will be any colour changes in TF4.5.

Remember: The colours will work differently on all aircraft, so you will need a colour chart for each specific aircraft type.
Also, it is not guaranteed that a colour that works together with another (green together with brown, for example) will look right when matched with a different colour (ex. green together with grey). This is not a bug, it's just the way the colours work in-game, they give a representation of real-world colour, and will never be perfect.

Both dates (Oct and Dec) are a lot further into the future than id given myself to expect from the announcements at the start of the year. Id assumed 4.5 would have been a summer release for some reason. Not that I'm in a rush. Just sayin
