    Feature Question

Congrats on your accomplishments and recognition.

    I have a feature question.
In Game, Options, Camera, Toggle Independent Mode.
In confUser.ini, [Hotkey viewSet], F10 invokes StartStop, which appears to be Toggle Independent Mode.

Specifically, what I am interested in is the Toggle Independent Mode's ability to turn the mouse cursor on/off.

I can't use Independent Mode to turn off the cursor because I use a mouse to fly. I do toggle Independent Mode
using a third party application called UCR which works very nicely for me. With a mouse and keyboard I have
gained a lot of control over the game. I just need the mouse cursor to go away when I am flying, it is very
    distracting.

That is the feature that I am interested in.

Is it possible to invoke the cursor on/off with an entry made in any of the .ini files?

I have tried many different entries. StartStop, the whole game in general is a black box to me.

    Any direction would be appreciated.

    Like he said....MS Sidewinder 2

You NEED a joystick for CLOD....I doubt you'll find anyone amongst this forum will say otherwise....As Seas says...Get a MS Sidewinder 2 (Has to be 2) for £10 on eBay...

As for hiding the mouse, most push it to the side but obviously you cant do that...There is a free program you can try...Not sure if this helps...

    https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...ght=hide+mouse

But as I say CLOD is a flight simulator designed to work best with a stick...I wouldnt suggest using mouse and keyboard and you'll be cannon fodder in the servers for sure...

Checkout the 'Beginners Guide'...for info and tips...It will save you a heap of time in getting up to scratch.....and its a really fun learning curve too...

Also try youtube for startup procedures on all the aircraft...

I recommend getting in the online server as soon as you can take off if that's ultimately where you'd like to fly...I flew single player for 30 minutes before I took the plunge...The ATAG online server is a great environment to learn and there's not really any damage you can do in there as a new player.....It is also mission based just with real players trying to foil your objectives...If you are concerned then pick an airstrip furthest from the front line (there always is one or two on every map) and get some alt before you go hunting...You'll get tagged a lot but there are tricks you learn out of pure desperation in those first few weeks that you'll be able to use later...I know cos I still use the same tricks I learned then too because they work...and never underestimate the stall to get you out of a tight fix...That sometimes works too...

TeamSpeak is optional but you'll learn a whole lot faster with it even if you say very little once you are on the server...You are quite welcome to just listen if you feel more comfortable with that....so you don't actually need a mic either...Try it and see!
