    Smile A Massive Thank You

    Hi Team Fusion
I want to express my sincere thanks for all you have done for CLOD

Was a long time player of '46, so naturally bought CLOD when it first released - and boy was I massively disappointed!
    It was basically unplayable IMHO

Went back to '46, then when Battle of Stalingrad came out, I started to get into that instead

For some reason, I did not notice the long years of hard work that Team Fusion were putting into CLOD, don't know why I missed it?

Then I saw quite recently that there was a total overhaul of CLOD, and that it was available as a STEAM update.
(Apparently Team Fusion have been working on this for years. But as I said, I somehow managed to miss it?)

Well hell I thought, it has got to be worth a go

Oh man - I was not ready for what Team Fusion have done to this game - I am just blown away

Not only have you managed to fix a broken game
You have taken an ugly duckling and turned it into a beautiful swan

    Have just started the campaign
The original stock campaign seemed like it was written by a twelve year old boy with wish fulfilment issues
The campaign I am playing now makes me feel like a new pilot flying for the RAF against all odds in defence of my country

I must assume as well as changing the FMs, graphics and sounds, TF also made a new non BS Campaign?
    Certainly feels like it

Some highlights from my first mission

    Taking off whilst being bombed

    Got one of them

    Got a second one

Have spend the last few days trawling through these forums and have seen some previews of what we will be getting in 4.5
    Oh man - super excited

And the Team Fusion guys have done all of this for us for free!
Just because they love the game and the genre so much?!
    That is frikkin awesome

Flight sims are a niche market
And WW2 flight sims are a niche within a niche
To be honest with you - I thought they would have died out by now - luckily we have a few brave hearts to keep the flame burning.

I think we are really frikkin' lucky to have such a team working to make such things for us
    Many thanks TF Team

    One final point
I see that the plan is to move to payware if and or when TF 5.0 gets released (Possible Mediterranean Theatre??)

Can I just say, speaking for myself, I am really looking forward to that
Personally I want to give you guys Money right now

As soon as you have anything up on steam (Early Access, or just me giving you money in advance!) I will be like this with my card

    Re: A Massive Thank You

Oh man it just gets better

Mission 2 in the campaign, got scrambled to protect a convoy

Ended up intercepting what looked like a Staffel of JU 87's - there were loads of them

Thought to myself - lets have a Stuka Party

Got over confident so was lazy in my approach, came up on a JU 87 right on his dead six - got hit right in my windscreen - serves me right!

Decided running away was the best option

Ended up having to open the canopy and stick my head out the window in order to see the runway!

Managed to get down in one piece though

Excellent OP, pretty much sums up the genesis of our current game!!
