Just a heads up in the push to v4.5 :)

Just wanted to apologise on the lack of significant news. Currently the team are compiling the v4.5 Beta for testing, before going to release candidate stage. While in the process a selection of bugs have been squashed which makes the team happy
All departments are working flat out and if all goes to plan, updates will soon announce a release date

We are close to v4.5 release BUT only if we are happy with the product, so while I imagine phrases like "Two Weeks" will start to be bandied around but it will only be "Two Weeks" when we are happy to say it.

Thanks to everyone for their patience, we want you to enjoy the release and for that reason we won't let it out 'into the wild' until we are satisfied with it.

Champion! Thanks everyone at TF for putting so much effort into this. I'm fairly new to CloD, but already appreciate the improvements over stock CloD and the thought of having moar stuff, for free (!) is really exciting.

Release when it's good to go. Gather feedback with community and keep improving the sim with constant small updates with future bugs fixes and new features and missing things in core engine. Do this with calm, invest in better development updates, and TFS will became a solid enterprise. You already have a loyal customers base, expand it.

Dix... obviously this is what they hope to include in the 4.5 patch posted by SM a little while back. All WIP of course. They won't know until testing is complete and a readme page is written will they/we will know all the exact details of 4.5 The list that he put out is impressive and massive..so hopefully they can get to it all or most. Enjoy

I know the reason they haven't done small updates in the past, is because its a long painstaking process to test and compile the patches for just a small few things each time. Maybe now that they have the SC and the ability to put the patches out Via Steam auto update feature..maybe it would be easier for them in the future. Exciting times for sure!

v4.5 will be an automatic update through Steam, if you have CloD installed in you Steam Library it will automatically update without opting in to a Beta
