Trinus is an app you can apparently use to set up any game to work on any VR headset. Im sure there are limitations but there are plenty of vids about it on Youtube.

Pimax 8k does look very promising. Im waiting patiently at this stage : )

I think the most exciting bit is that these screens might show up elsewhere.

That's good to hear, for I didn't want to get an oculus at the price they were released, but even now with the prices coming down, the game I want to use it for, doesn't support it
So, I'm keeping an eye on things as well

Re: Pimax 8K VR headset initial report - Promising!

My recent experience with my WMR ASUS HC102 head set has got me hooked on VR, however the current 1440x1440 rez and Fresnel lens cause a very noticeable and irritating screen door effect plus adding to the difficulty of spotting planes due to pixel size. I am currently looking at mod to swap out the lens for ones with more clarity but at the end of the day I am going to upgrade to the Pimax 8K+, unfortunately the cost of the head unit is not the only big expense, apparently I need a 1080Ti or equivalent to run it .... This reminds of the old joke we all remember "hey guys I just spent $2500 on a new PC to play a $60 game...."
