    Map rotation lately

there is something wrong with map rotation in european prime time. For the last 7-8 days, every evening we have either Fall rott or dynamo folowed by kanalkampf or new dawn fades. Player count is much lower than usual, especially on blue side. I dont mind playing any of those maps, but its too much when you have to fly them every single evening. Can someone check that out?

    thanks

    Re: Map rotation lately

I've noticed exactly the same thing here in NZ gr00ve - except for the time I usually play it's usually London Ruft/Steamworks and Hellfire Corner/Mae West, alternating every 2 days. This has been happening for a few weeks now.

Having made a note of the rotation, I notice there are 15 maps currently in rotation and it appears that around 7-8 are on the server every day. It seems that a cycle of some form has sprung up where the same maps are 'flipped' at about the same times each time they come up, and the rotation's just got stuck in a rut.

Temporarily removing (or adding even) a few maps from the rotation might fix it?

    Re: Map rotation lately

I've been messing around with settings to improve contact spotting all week and it's actually been useful to have kanalkampf on every night....

It's a nice one for contact spotting

Gr00ve is right though, the map rotation seems stuck in a cycle

I have noticed the same... As a concequence I have stay away from ATAG when these same maps are always on...
Personally I prefer the normal "channel maps", with normal plane set and seems most do as well as the players numbers go down when they are not on.

I forget the names of the maps in question here but it would be nice if the maps where you are mostly flying over the area south of the Isle of Wight were removed as they not only take ages to get anywhere, the player numbers half when they come on.
