I really like the way you get the human figures in the shot. I have had a go at this but find the light and shade is difficult to achieve so that the figures blends with the original screenshot.

These are gorgeous, Larry - just like all your others! The level of detail you insert brings this sim alive.
I know the FMB has airfield templates that can be used in building missions (although I don't think they have the level of detail that you display). What I'd love is for these templates to include movement on the airfield such as fuel bowsers, jeeps, etc moving about in set circuits to add even more authenticity (including checking carefully when taxiing that you don't cross a vehicle's path!). At present we don't have animated humans (yeah, I know this is a FLIGHT SIM, not a Call of Duty sim LOL), but I'm impressed with the DCS campaigns that include walking sentries/other military personnel walking about.
Thanks for sharing these pics, Larry. I can't imagine the hours you put in getting everything positioned just right, then getting the airborne aircraft to cooperate for your screen shots!

May I suggest you post them over at the Great Battles CloD site, or dare i suggest even the Great battles Screenshot thread itself ? The DWT possibilities you've done desrve to be seen by all our fellow enthusiasts.
Seeing these made me think that some talented skinner could do a few Japanese skins for the G-50 & Br-20's. They would be better than adequate stand-in for eaely Japanese aircraft in Faux Pacific scenarions as advesaries for P-40's & of course Wildcats...( How about it Major Setback...possible?)
( BTW: are these skins available for the Wildcat ?)

Sorry, I would love to devote my time to doing more skins from different theatres, especially regarding Australian skins. But I think I need to reserve my energies for skins that would more realistically be employed on our existing in-game maps.
