Hello,
First of all thank you for the great work on the update. But, can we have the Dynamic Campaign option back, please? I mainly play SP and this option is a must have in my opinion (and probably for other SP pilots).
Thank you,
Cheers

Absolutely agree. I am sure they have something planned but their being weirdly quiet about it. That is kind of troubling honestly.
There are numerous thread here and Steam forums asking about campaigns but from what I can see no info at all from the devs.
"Everything I had ever learned about air fighting taught me that the man who is aggressive, who pushes a fight, is the pilot who is successful in combat and who has the best opportunity for surviving battle and coming home."

The Dynamic campaign was not created by a TF member, so there is an issue with copyright.
We have tried to contact the creator, so far no luck.
Thanks
Ahh ok. Good information to have thank you.
That is something you guys might want to post elsewhere as I don't that is known. I know there was talk about some other stuff that couldn't be included due to that sort of thing but I don't think the dynamic campaign was mentioned.
Appreciate the information though.
Do you guys have plans to create some sort of dynamic campaign for the game at a later date maybe?

Thanks for the explanation, Buzz. I hope you can find him. Clod is in beautiful shape but it really needs some Single Player content. A big thank you to the whole team and keep the good work.
S!
I copied the TF Campaign from 4.3 and it shows up in the Single Player menu, but I'm not sure that the mission generation works as it should. Being a C# developer, soon between jobs , maybe the source can be made available if the author doesn't have time with this ?

Maybe you can start off with this.

This "Dynamic Campaign" is Enlightened Florist code, available there:
https://code.google.com/archive/p/il2dynamiccampaign/
This system cover only fighter operations, not bombers.
Original topic in "Bananas'Drama":
http://forum.1cpublishing.eu/showthread.php?t=25362
BTW - Airwarfare link in topic is now dead - I think their files was moved for Mission4Today but in a big pack.
Great to see people in the community willing to jump in and help! If I was a programmer I certainly would love to help.
A single player dynamic campaign would make this sim a true classic now. Great job all.

Maybe it's not that big a problem, I've just generated a TF SP Campaign and flew 1 mission. If you kept 4.312 on your disk , simply copy the
<drive>:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\parts\TEFCampaign folder to the
<drive>:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\parts folder
The campaign should show up in the Single Player menu.
Oh dang I did not keep mine

Since Blitz and CLOD are 2 separate games on Steam, I guess that you could download CLOD(4.312) again , with the BETA option.. That would create the
<drive>:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover\
and the Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD
None of these folders should conflict with Blitz afaik. I assume that there would be a risk that "Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" (now containing Blitz) could be overwritten if the CLOD 4.312 first requires CLOD (unmodded) to be installed. You could rename "Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover" temporarily until 4.312 is installed, I guess, and then rename it back again.
Or...someone could host the TF Dynamic Campaign folder, but that might violate copyright rules..
Ya I thought about trying that, thank you.
I was afraid to mess up my Blitz install but I think I will try it.
I did keep my old folder from the My Docs folder and just renamed it but I did not keep the main CLoD folder from Steam.
Thanks

Ok I went ahead and reinstalled the old version of CLoD.
Do I actually need anything out of the Documents\1C SoftClub\il-2 sturmovik cliffs of dover - MOD folder?
If I am reading this all correct I just need the TEFCampaign folder from the main IL-2 Steam folder correct?
Thanks for the help all.

Great! Thank you sir!
Really appreciate your help.

I still had the original Enlightened Forest Campaign saved and have uploaded to ATAG the last version i had before it became part of 4.3.
It can be manually installed into Blitz.
https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...downloadid=156
Win 11 - Intel Core i9 11900 - MSI MPG Z590 GAMING CARBON MB - 32Gig Corsair Vengeance 3600 - GeForce RTX 3080 GAMING OC (497.09)
Valve Index (Steam VR render @150% - 2468x2740) - SteamVR and Blitz installed on C: on M2 NVMe.
Warthog stick base with 20cm extension and Chebb KG12 - Warthog Throttle - Slaw 109 ver1 Rudder Pedals
Oh cool. Thank you.
I am sorry I am just coming back to IL-2 after years is that what became the TF Dynamic Campaign that was included with the TF Patch before Blitz or is that a totally different campaign?
Thank again for taking the time to upload that.

To fly the Beaufighter in the TF campaign, add "BeaufighterMkIF" to the "playerAircraft.SECTION" and "redAircraft.SECTION" . They can be found in:
<drive:>\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\parts\TEFCampaign\campaign\west\Files
<drive:>\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\IL-2 Sturmovik Cliffs of Dover Blitz\parts\TEFCampaign\campaign\east\Files
In "playerAircraft.SECTION" (open with Notepad) , find a squadron of your choice, I've chosen 66 Squadron here:
[BoB_RAF_F_66Sqn_Early]
Name No. 66 Squadron
Type Fighter
Flight0 1 2 3 4
Formation VIC3
Fuel 100
Aircraft SpitfireMkIa SpitfireMkI SpitfireMkIIa BeaufighterMkIF
in "redAircraft.SECTION", find and update the same squadron:
[BoB_RAF_F_66Sqn_Early]
Flight0 1
Class Aircraft.BeaufighterMkIF
Formation VIC3
CallSign 26
Fuel 100
Weapons 1
SetOnPark 1
Skill 0.3 0.3 0.3 0.3 0.3 0.3 0.3 0.3
Airbase 146673 251076
Since 66 Squadron is a fighter squadron, the missions will be fighter missions. There are no ground attack missions (the LW has Jabo missions) , but I guess that with some work this type of mission can be added to the campaign structure. Bomber missions should be flyable if a bomber squadron is selected.
Oh, and I tried to add a new squadron, the 25 Squadron, but I get a "Regiment Bob_RAF_F_25Sqd not found" error when generating the campaign...so there must be a squadron validation somewhere against valid squadrons.

I've flown 2 Beaufighter missions now in the TEF Dynamic campaign and it seems that the AI pilots have problems.
- Mission 1, escort Blenheims . The whole flight managed to collide (3 planes) while forming up..I was circling above watching the show..
- Mission 2, patrol.. jumped a Staffel of E-4B and I managed to shred the radiator on a quick pass. After a while the forces parted, no other casualties. Until we got home..
Ground control at Kenley told #4 and #3 to join the circuit, I circled to see them touchdown nicely about 1/3 of the runway length..then they rolled past the end of the runway, into
the woods and a small cottage..big explosion.. Didn't want to see #2 end the same way , so I exited..
Is this a campaign bug or a Beaufighter AI bug in general ?
I replace Spit with Beaufighter in some QM, and return to "home plate" they land OK in Hawkinge under tower control.

Last year I took the code that someone called oden had written and added a few extra bits and created a dynamic campaign for the Battle of Britain
Here is the link to that code on Mediafire
http://www.mediafire.com/file/rl8cyz.../ReleaseV7.rar
I was interested in updating it further for Blitz but no one else seemed to be
see this thread for my thoughts
https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...ad.php?t=22096
I'm testing a modded TEF Dynamic Campaign:
- added a new "Beaufighter East" campaign with:
- added 29 Sqd and 219 Sqd as Beaufighter squadrons with "Jabo" role
- "UKJabo" mission types as playermissions and "RedJabo" as aimissions
- compiled new DLLs to support the new mission types.
I've only tested campaign generation so far, but it generated an airfield attack mission with escort. The ground targets in France already existed , and the Jabo mission logic was already prepared for either side.
Edit: Well , the logic seems to work. I defined some different mission types for "UKJabo", so the next mission generated was a bomber escort mission. The Beau MkIF is only good for strafing missions so it should have other missions assigned to it as well. The Hurricane fighter bomber could use the "UKJabo" assignment as well , I guess. More ground targets could be added too..

Upload your campaign for ATAG download section - this give then more visibility.
I know that this campaign exists, and have do search a bit to find the link.
