General and map-specific FPS issues (In-game+ Nividia Controll panel)
Hey Gents,
Finally I thought I have Blitz properly fine tuned both in-game and on Nvidia Controll Panel. I tuned the game down quite a bit, but now I have min 35 fps even in the busiest part of the Black Death track, and overall 60 in any other (busy scenarios). Thats what I thought.
On the aka. "Isle of White Map" with some flak and ighting 2 110s at 15k ft(!) my fps again dropped to 12! That makes me think that the map might be overloaded with objects, stuff firing, that makes it unplayable (At least on my rig). I am interested if this phenomenon is just something I experience, or it is a generally present issue for others too?
Generally I lost a good 30 fps with Blitz vs. 4.312. I have an old i7950 @3ghz, gtx9604gb, 14gb ram. Blitz on ssd.
To cut it short, I have use 69th_Venom´s settings. My settings only differ from his in "Land shading: High", on my side.
I am having 60 fps and no stutter nearly everywhere, unless the ATAG server "hotspots". I have only one id-ed yet (Isle of White) Here go the settings:
