    4.5 crash on 'create'

I've had this error happen twice. It has happened both times when in a multiplayer server, clicking 'create'. It flashes into the game/aircraft momentarily, but then this error happens:

    Code:
    Application: Launcher64.exe

Then one second later this happened and the game closed:

    Code:

Now the odd thing is, after this happens I can't get into an aircraft on CloD again. Start the game, go to multiplayer or single mission (doesn't matter which) go to jump in an aircraft and you get the first frame showing that you've jumped into the aircraft and then CloD freezes there. Then you get an "application hang" and have to close CloD (a little pop-up comes up from windows telling you the program is hung). The event viewer looks like this:

    Code:
The program Launcher64.exe version 1.0.0.0 stopped interacting with Windows and was closed. To see if more information about the problem is available, check the problem history in the Security and Maintenance control panel.

     Faulting package-relative application ID:
The funny thing is that once it is in this state, neither 4.5 nor 4.312 will start. They both hang up exactly the same way. I fixed it by re-booting last time but after a couple more times running CloD with no problems the error has recurred and now it looks like I'll have to reboot again.

    Re: 4.5 crash on 'create'

Always useful to post ur system specs (incl. OS) in any kind of "crash" thread.
Seems strange that 4.3 is crashing as well.
Any recent changes, software installs, overlays, re-shade etc ?
Maybe try going into the _CommonRedist folder in Steamapps/common/IL2 Blitz and running the installers again.
If no joy there then u could try deleting everything (after backing up ur control and user.ini's) and re-installing.
If it continues then it may be a hardware issue eg graphics card dying.
    System specs:
    Gaming laptop: Metabox P750ZM, CPU Intel i7-4790K @ 4GHz, GTX 980m with 8Gb DDR5 VRAM, 16Gb Dual channel DDR3 RAM, 2 x Samsung EVO 840 500Gb SSDs, Win10 Home 64bit.

Gaming PC: MSI PRO Z690 WIFI DDR5 mobo, Intel i5 12600KF cpu, 32Gb Corsair DDR5 5200Mhz RAM, Samsung 980 Pro 1 TB M2 SSD, Corsair 850w psu, MSI RTX 3070 8GB vram vid card, Windows 10 Home 64bit.

    Re: 4.5 crash on 'create'

Re-booting temporarily fixed the problem the first time. Rebooting again fixed it again and it hasn't recurred yet (though I haven't tested too extensively since the last reboot).
