    Joystick Curves

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice in my "Joystick Still Oversensitive" thread https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...ad.php?t=27779

and those who pointed the way to the Joystick Curves software https://theairtacticalassaultgroup.c...ead.php?t=6497

I am delighted with the results (I can now actually shoot down fighters!) and wonder why the developers don't include this facility within the CoD Options.

This would be beneficial by making the game more accessible to newcomers and make the game more popular (thus making more money for TFS ) and therefore

giving us all the benefit of rapid growth of CoD (How about a Pacific Theatre - maybe?)

    Re: Joystick Curves

Hello. How did you rename the virtual joystick? Since in Blitz, the definition of Joy0, Joy1, Joy2... does not work anymore. Changing directly to Joystick1, for example, in ConfUser.ini is no longer recognized by the game because the real name is needed. The VJoy_Virtual_Joystick name also does not work. What is the full name of the virtual device (ID) to be properly recognized and use curves created in Joystick Curves software?

    Hi Nox

I did not change anything in the configuration files and simply selected "Default" in the Joystick Curves console
This description from Steam is a little more graphic

Remember to click "Add New" for each axis, and activate the test loop before going into the game. Once in the game go to Options/Controls/Axes - click on the axis you are changing eg - "your joystick name Y axis" then click change and the virtual joystick axis appears - click apply and exit game.

Do this for each axis you want to change - in and out of game each time - easy - works great

    Re: Joystick Curves

Finally works perfectly now. The game detected the virtual joystick as "VJoy_Virtual_Joystick-7D1E3FB5". Thank you very much!
