Sad to hear today Dolores O'Riordan, the lead singer and songwriter for the Cranberries died today at age 46... the death being described as 'unexplained'.
She had a unique voice... as well as a clear Irish accent... and one which she used in ways not heard before in Pop music.
Her song Zombie was one of the tide of songs pushing for the settlement of the Irish problems.
According to interviews, she had been the subject of abuse when she was a young girl, and subsequently was diagnosed with bipolar disorder.
