    Tutorial -- How to set up Virtual cockpit to run in remote mode

    Due to the fact that the information about it are mostly scattered around the forum I have realised an easy to be followed step-by-step guide, with help images included, about how to to set up VirtualCockpit to run in remote mode.

    You can find the tutorial at the following link:

    Re: Tutorial -- How to set up Virtual cockpit to run in remote mode

    I have now updated the tutorial about this argument to be able to run VirtualCockpit in remote mode correctly .
    I have also edited the thread layout and format to render more easy to complete the various steps required.

    Now VirtualCockpit in remote mode is 100% working!

    Re: Tutorial -- How to set up Virtual cockpit to run in remote mode

    I finally managed to get it working. As said, it's all mostly scattered around the forum, but Clod is now working for me on four monitors. As I mentioned elsewhere - make sure you run it whilst in cockpit - it doesn't seem to work when you're in external view (obviously).

    The three server monitors display only the scenery (Ctrl-F1 presses) and the client monitor displays Aces' excellent Spitfire II panel. To make life that bit easier the client monitor is used without keyboard or mouse and automatically loads, configures and displays the instrument panel on boot-up. If it's any use to anyone, a script is given that will do the job; I'm sure there is a more elegant way but - hey - it works. My realvc.bat file is held in my C:\ProgramData\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\StartUp\ folder.

    Code:
    @if (@CodeSection == @Batch) @then
    @echo off
    SET SendKeys=CScript //nologo //E:JScript "%~F0"
    TIMEOUT /T 2
    CD "C:\Users\myname\Downloads\Clod-panel"
    START VirtualCockpit.exe
    TIMEOUT /T 6
    %Sendkeys% "{HOME}"
    TIMEOUT /T 1
    %Sendkeys% "{END}"
    %Sendkeys% "{TAB}"
    TIMEOUT /T 1
    %Sendkeys% "{DOWN 5}"
    %Sendkeys% "{TAB}"
    TIMEOUT /T 1
    %Sendkeys% "8270"
    %Sendkeys% "{TAB}"
    %Sendkeys% "192.168..myip"
    TIMEOUT /T 1
    %Sendkeys% "{TAB 3}"
    %Sendkeys% "{DOWN}"
    TIMEOUT /T 1
    %Sendkeys% "{TAB 2}"
    %Sendkeys% " "
    %Sendkeys% "{F9}"
    GOTO :EOF

    @end
    // JScript section
    var WshShell = WScript.CreateObject("WScript.Shell");
    WshShell.SendKeys(WScript.Arguments(0));0
