Maru, the last of the Megatheriums.
(Wiki: Megatherium (/mɛɡəˈθɪəriəm/ meg-ə-THEER-ee-əm from the Greek mega [μέγας], meaning "great", and therion [θηρίον], "beast") was a genus of elephant-sized ground sloths endemic to South America, sometimes called the giant ground sloth)

Highseas, if you mean to ask real grandmas, not those charming young ladies of my age who happen to have grandchildren, I think the answer can only be cast iron.
I do have a pot, inherited from my mum, that weighs about a ton. It is indestructible and perfect not only for spanish stuff, but for anything like goulash, gumbo, chili con carne, bigosh, stew etc.
And another big advantage: my wife can't throw it at me (at least not very far ...)
