    Keyboard becoming totaly unresponsive

my keyboard locks up occasionally during play sessions in CLoD, sometimes i can use mouse to get out of the game but a full restart is needed to get it back; it tends to happen on repeated key strokes (like trimming); it's totally BS because when it happens it usually does so the first few minutes, other times never at all.

i use G110 Logitech [USB] and i'm aware that may be the issue, however it never happened at all in the past, and it's a CLoD BLITZ specific situation; drivers & firmware are up to date.; i use Windows 7, sticky keys are off as any other accessibility option; USB selective suspend setting is disabled on power settings.
i'm using Joy Curves + Reshade 3.1.1 (just a few filters); FPS counter in Reshade is off, i turned off Steam overlay when i read that it could lead to this kind of trouble.

i'd like to know if anyone has encountered this issue and if so, have you found a solution, THX

Did you set reshade to pass through all commands? The default is that it sets autopilot and blocks most commands. I have given up on reshade, since it keeps wiping out most of my keystroke assignments and I have to keep resetting them. Besides that, I think the shaders 4.5 uses look pretty good to me already. Reshade just doesn't seem worth all of the aggravation.

changing from a USB 3.0 port to USB 2.0 seems to have resolved the problem, but pending further testing.

inadequate USB 3.0 driver maybe, who knows

    Re: Keyboard becoming totaly unresponsive

i have an ASUS MAXIMUS VII RANGER, and i have to install the USB 3.0 driver from ASUS after Windows 7 install (no generic MS driver from Win DVD setup).

i'm aware that these G110 keyboards may have some issues, although i've never encountered any before; the only thing i've had was back in the day with in Oblivion (Elder Scrolls), an old USB keyboard would go crazy everytime i had an old joystick plugged, but it recovered fully just by unplugging the thing; no other game would have that issue.

i've been mostly grounded due to work for the last 7 days, so more testing pending soon, but the few offline sorties i've made raised no problems and i'm feeling optimistic
