As I like to practice bombing, navigating etcetc. I would like to have my on missions. The quick missions are a good start but you can't take a loadout, cannot tune altitude, etc. So after some reading and youtube tutorials (these are nice https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aijgjKuUIfM) I decided I was ready for the FMB.
So I followed Phil's first tutorial, opened FMB, discarded the open mission window, selected the summer 1940 map, clicked battle area and modified the axis as instructed and... well nothing. No battle area appeared. I tried different numbers, but nothing came up.
Ok, forget the area. Let's insert an airplane. Object viewer, airplane, select one, click on the map and uhhh I get a few colourful coordinate system but no airplane. Also going into the map with enter showed some nice coloured arrows, but no plane.
Ok, let's also forget from scratch. I copied a quick mission (nr 003 to be precise) and managed to change the airplane to the one I like including loadout and all bells and whistles. I put it in the right folder, and yes, I appeared in my Ju-88 where I wanted with the correct loadout.
So let's try bombing. Aligning my bomb sight up and town, turn on automation and the sight jumps all the way up. And with automation on I can't adjust the sight anymore? Online this key binding set works great, but in this universum something changed?
Ok, to recap:
1. why can't a create a battle area?
2. why don't planes show up but colourful coordinate systems?
3. why doesn't bomb automation works in a modified quick mission?
