I think the Buckingham bullet effect look very good. I am looking forward to it.
The explosion on the other hand less so, they are a step back from what it was before Blitz in my opinion. The question is does it need to be change?

If I had to pick of the 3 explosion effects we have / had.. 4.3/4.5/ new effect just shown, 4.3 looks more like a bomb that's embedded in the earth exploding. Shooting dirt and debris skyward and raining back down. I don't know if they were done away with to help with particle effects? If not I would say bring them back and just add some subtle effects to them if anything. Random stuff flying skyward or falling back to earth. Or take a poll on the 3.

They have someone working on them now. As far as I know..no definite date has been set for when they will be done. I'm sure it will take a fair amount of Beta testing to get them tweaked correctly.

Eeve should still have all the noodly cycles functionality built in. Nice to have GPU doing things live. I'm really liking the PBR stuff coming out for Substance Painter as well.
