I built a 3 Squadron RAAF 1/48 Gladiator about 10 years ago and bought a decal sheet for it. He's some links and i will see if i still have the box and decal sheet and psinting instructions in my model stash. I lent the model to a friend to do the rigging and havent seen it since

I might make this skin (the ZNW skin). I had planned to do that exact skin and camouflage pattern but didn't get around to it. I can't promise I will do it for TF5, but it is possible.

Thanks major_setback - be great if you can (I might even fly red just to fly it) but totally understand about not promising it for TF5.

I just found my box - ahhh memories... - and here's a couple of images. I think i gave the detailed decal instructions to my rigging friend...

Painting a biplane with this reasonably complicated skin was a PITA as i recall. Must be tricky to do the skin?

Thanks for at least considering it. 3 Sqn's time in the desert/Italy during 1940-45 is an important part of the RAAF's WW2 history (that 109 that Buzz was posting about - Black 6 - was 'liberated' by 3 Sqn for example) and the Gladiator/Hurricane/Lysander/Gauntlet ops in late 1940 / early 41 receives scant attention unfortunately.

I might make one (no promises though). They seem to follow the standard camouflage pattern.

Regarding the Gladiator in your signature picture. Would it have been more likely to have had brown/green or brown/mid-stone camo?
