Looks great... no question the BoX system is making great strides.

Looks very good. Man I do miss flying the P47. I was always partial to the way the P47B Razorback looked.

The P-47B was only used in the US in a training role... early model. (56th Fighter Group trained in NY in this aircraft) The Razorbacks which saw service in WWII were the P-47C, (in very small numbers) but primarily the P-47D Razorback.

The Razorback was the most numerous P-47D type right up to October of 1944.

The best performing P-47's were the late Razorbacks... for example, the P-47D-21.... which were lighter than the bubble tops but had their engines boosted to 70 inHG. They had better performance at high altitude than the P-51.

A common misconception is the P-47's were replaced by the P-51's as escorts because the P-51's had better performance in that role... that was not the case. The reason the P-51's replaced the P-47's was simply because the Mustangs had better range and could escort anywhere the B-17's/B-24's could venture... the P-47's could not escort past Berlin... and there were many more targets further to the East which the 8th AAF wanted to target... in eastern Germany and also Czechoslovakia.

Who knows... we might see the Razorback P-47, (and P-51) in CoD based sims at some point.

Hi RAF74_Buzzsaw, do you have any chance of having an ATAG server on BOS? Those who live in South America suffer from high ping problems on Russian servers.

ATAG has discussed the potential for a BoX server before, currently not something we are working on but we are interested in having a server on BoX, maybe once BoBP releases and maybe after TF 5.0. I think it's a great idea.

Those screenshots look great, except that A-20 fire one, it seems like they changed the fire to look like the CloD blitz fire effect, which is a total downgrade in terms of realism I think, CloD should have changed to an effect that looked like the BoX one :(

I know what you mean Flare but in BoX's case I think it's an improvement on what they had before. Previously, a large fire was dominated by a large, blocky, lump of.....'plasma'?

This now seems more dynamic, more subject to airflow.

Not quite there yet but better than before.

I was surprised to see the left wing burning for a long time only for the right one to fall off?

Why is there so much Blue hue/saturation? Everything looks super saturated in the Blue colour channels, even white clouds are blue tinged?

It is? Seems ok to me but I suppose it could be my reshade settings or it could be my monitor or it could be the game.

    P47, one more week.

Nice showcase vid there. As Snapper said, those droplet effects are outstanding.
