Flight control cables need tensioning. The autopilot servo will hunt the loose cable and overcompensate. Go holler at maintenance.

I'm always finding ways on how a mechanic or manufacturer could screw something up. Makes for a good way to clear the conscience, like were Jurassic Park "fills in" missing DNA.....or not haha
Seriously though, wish pilots would be diligent in writing squawks (bugs) like that. Even if some of them might be in the "O-F-F mode" range.

@pckormic, VR will be something we implement after 5.0. We decided not to delay 5.0 for it because it will take a coder or two just focused on that to get it finished, and we are a small group of people already. Once 5.0 is finished, then yes VR is very important.

Also, it isn't just a matter of getting it to work, a TON of work will need to be done in the 3d department because some of the original models have 2d parts with excellent texture to work to mimic the look of 3d.

So, VR is something we know people want and would be a great addition, but don't expect it for 5.0.
I really am delighted VR is still in the program..I 've found it to be a real ( pardon the play on words,) "Game Changer" in BoX.
I am a pretty loyal CloD player tho & i do look forward to 5.0 and the new flyable esp. the 109 Fredrich...
    ( Soon I hope!)

Regarding introduction of VR I understand the argument refered to the majority of PC users. However do not underestimate the uncredible effect specially with flight simulators. I personally

use VR since two month and i have to say "there is no way return".

I have played CoD for long time with fun, but now only BoX gives me the real feeling of flight (more important than fight). I will surely come back to CoD when VR is implemented, and I hope this will happen very soon.

Re: TFS Developer Update - July 2018

As has been mentioned, we did a survey of ATAG and other sites to determine if people were prepared to see a delay on the release of TF 5.0 of six months to allow implementation of VR.

A substantial majority of opinion was in favour of an earlier release of the module without VR.

We do intend to add VR to the game's capabilities... but it will be for TF 6.0 or as a patch for TF 5.0.

    Thanks

I think I missed that survey. I'm all for a patch in 6 months but waiting 2 years or more for 6.0 will melt my little brain into a puddle of mush.

It would be a pity to delay the release of TF5 if it was complete and only awaiting implementation of VR.
It makes more sense to release VR compatibility when it is ready, rather than to release TF5 only when VR is ready.
