    There are more countries where the swastika is still banned, so if you want to internationally release a game, you still have to take those into account

    As has been mentioned, the game has international distribution, including in Russia... where laws are still in force.

    So TF will not be making an changes to the markings shown.

    I do understand there was a group/persons who were working on an unofficial mod, but I have not seen any recent postings.
