Nice shot SM thanks for posting.
Can't wait to use the cannons on the Spit V.

Nice...I look forward to flying against that beast. Wonder if it will have the same recoil as the 109s do with their cannons? I think many red pilots who never fly blue will find that hitting something with cannons isn't always as easy as it seems with the accuracy affected by the recoil.
just beautiful.
cant wait to disentegrate 109s with a tap of the trigger.
I was assuming that that was what you meant LOL
we would not want the single center line cannon in the F to have an advantage now would we.
seems like the very troublesome asymmetric cannon recoil in the 109 was never an issue but now that the spit will have that problem (and should be worse in the spit due to the ballistics of the hispanno) it is an issue that needs to be fixed.
I look forward to flying the spit V.
but that being said nice update Buzz keep them coming.

The fact is, there was significant recoil from wing mount cannon or larger MG's... that is a historical fact.
Experiencing this is not a bug.
That was one of the reasons the 109's switched to the Engine mount.
If you want to get rid of the recoil, there are several simply solutions:
- Don't use Force Feedback
- Adjust the FFB file in your game. (there are posts describing how to do this)
If you are trying to suggest there is anti-blue bias in the modeling of the game... I would suggest you fly the 109E-4N.
If you have trouble doing well in that plane, then time to practice your energy fighting.
Re. the guns and recoil... since you are so concerned, I think we'll leave things as they are... with the noticeable recoil for Spits with cannon in the wings and 109E with cannon.
Then you can really complain when the 190A with its four wing cannon arrives.
Yes, there are dozens of more important issues.

Oh my word! I hope the cockpit has some improvements too, the Spit cockpits in-game currently are a bit of a hot mess to be frank.

The main issue is the windscreen framing, the frames are too thick.

(from a VB but the structure is identical)
This is something which impedes forwards visibility a fair bit. Something which is a bit nitpicky I must admit, but I never fail to notice, is that in-game the RAF gunsight is completely round, when in actuality it was flatter along the sides and the top.

The Spitfire cockpit is undergoing several changes for TF5.0. Known issues are being addressed.

Yes, the Bf 109 is a very small aircraft. Which is good in some ways but not so good in others. I think the Hurricane and Spitfire are somewhat bigger than the Bf 109 (also good in some ways but not so good in others) and the Spitfire wings are almost a third larger in size.
Happy landings,
