These are very useful videos, especially as we seem to have more new players joining us every day. I've stickied this thread to make it a little easier for newcomers to find. Thanks for doing this, PStyle and Farber!

Great work, Thank you! I especially enjoyed the bit about using tracer for the residue, never really had a clue how much ammunition I have left until it's too late...

You must set up options for guns 5 through 8. Use the same as 1 through 4 or change as you wish.

You need ammunition in every gun. All 8 of them.

Re: New tutorial video - loadout (RAF)

    Thank you Philstyle.

Here is what I ended up with.

    My convergence
    Code:
      conv _Gun03 Gun.Browning303MkII 100 200
      conv _Gun06 Gun.Browning303MkII 125 200
      conv _Gun00 Gun.Browning303MkII 180 200
      conv _Gun01 Gun.Browning303MkII 125 200
      conv _Gun07 Gun.Browning303MkII 180 200
      conv _Gun02 Gun.Browning303MkII 125 200
      conv _Gun05 Gun.Browning303MkII 125 200
      conv _Gun04 Gun.Browning303MkII 100 200
I set my gunsight to 180yds.

    My present loadout.
    Code:
      belt _Gun03 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 11 9 2
      belt _Gun06 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 2 9 11
      belt _Gun00 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 10 9 11 2 9 11 9 11
      belt _Gun01 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 9 2 11
      belt _Gun07 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 10 9 11 2 9 11 9 11
      belt _Gun02 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 2 9 11
      belt _Gun05 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 9 11 2
      belt _Gun04 Gun.Browning303MkII MainBelt 2 11 9
You can copy this into your user.ini file under each Brit fighter, saves a ton of time over doing through the UI.

Thanks for this. I've avoided playing with the loadout thus far because I could never decide what ammo to use. Is there a recommended RAF starting point for all-round good Hun shooting?

On another tread the "recipe" is:

    MG1
    Ball Mk VII
    Ball Mk VII
    AP
    AP
    De Wild
    De Wild

    MG2
    AP
    AP
    Ball Mk VII
    Ball Mk VII
    De Wild
    De Wild

    MG3
    De wilde
    De Wilde
    Ball Mk VII
    Ball Mk VII
    AP
    AP

    Continue alternating until MG8

Add tracers on 4 and 5 if want, well as "residue".

Re: New tutorial video - loadout (RAF)

That's some very good piece of information, thank you guys!

What I find strange on loadout is that the settings are not saved sometimes - I basically changed the default profiles for fuel as well as ammo but next time I load the game it's back to default. Even saving different profiles seems to do nothing - the profiles are gone when restarting the game.
Maybe I'm doing something wrong but I didn't managed to figure it out yet.
