According to some, P47 best done BoX aircraft in detail. Can't wait to try tonight.

    I gave it a whirl. Bombs, rockets, 8 x .50 cal - great fun.

Super long takeoff run all loaded up, even with a bit of flaps. Not a great climber under these conditions. LOL

Graphics, instrument panel very good — one exception: the paddle blades from inside the cockpit lack texture and look one-dimensional to me.

Looking forward to trying more air-ground mud moving in single player.

    Re: P47 and K4

After Tooling about in G4s, 6s and 14s the K4 almost feels agile and F4 like again. I actually, almost, not quite but very close, feel I might grow to like it. Its almost pretty too even with its caravan like extended tail wheel. And the browns, greens and Sky make a nice change after years of RLM 74/75/76

The P47 needs some virtual automotive tape for the damn flashing red light....Very nicely done though.

Flying the P47 made me feel like my joystick put on some weight.

You can near feel the size of the aircraft.

I purchased Bodenplatte for the P47.

When checking out other aircraft the 190 A8 version - the recticle is sitting under the plate as such. How do I move it Tom eye level? Never had this issue with other ac.

Can't wait for ground pounder too Snap.

Yes, it is a very special time to be a flight simmer.

    Hey pat,

There is a key you can press f10 or 12 that will allow to set a custom seat position. You should be able to tinker it around to get the position you like mate.

    Cheers

F-10 save a new camera POV position, not seat position. Caution because can mess cockpit view if used in wrong moment, eg. looking at pedals.

    Re: P47 and K4

Eager to try out these new birds when I get home for Christmas. Only 3 or so more weeks to go now which is crazy! The jug seems like a beast. There's so much ammo in those .50 cals you can just spray and pray all day long, and with 8 of them you're bound to ruin someone's day.

The big news in BoX though is adding the effects of compressible airflow - that will really shake up high-speed flight and is really important for fast planes like the Jug, Tempest, and of course the 262 when that comes out.
