What are you most looking forward to in Patch 5 Tobruk?

I thought I would start this just to see what folks like. I'm number 3 with the 109 Fs

1 The new planeset & name your favorites
2 The Desert arena
3 The whole package makes you want to jump up and down with joy
4 You don't really care for the Desert arena but you like the new planeset

Honestly, the planeset is cool, the map is cool, but what I really want is just this:

Bug fixes, AI improvements, effects updates, FM updates, graphical improvements, the lot. In my opinion, any game should strive to produce quality of existing content rather than new content. Of course new content is awesome too (and it sells, that's why people are still interested) but the real meat of the update in my opinion will be the technical improvements to the sim, not the new planes.

But damn if I'm not excited for the Spitfire V.

Agree with all of it. Although you probably don't see me flying much in multiplayer it's because for some strange reason I'm not a Battle of Britain fan in the sim world, in the real world for sure. North Africa is my favorite. This original 1c IL-2 Sturmovik series I have stuck with since the demo in August 2001, fun times and what ever comes along I'll stand by it.

There are tons of things I`m going to do with TFS 5.0. But there`s one thing I would not like to do, clean up a battlefield after an enemy airstrike.

Definitely looking forward to the little P40 and Gladiator

Also, getting to grips with a cannon firing Spit will be a blast....... though seeing I'm so rubbish in our present E4 109's I'm not sure I'll be hitting anything other than sand dunes.

Oh and.....sharing a cold beer, in a bar in Alexandria with Sylvia Sims! (Don't worry! I've already locked John Mills in the loo!) Salute!

Just with this sim generally one of the things I've always really liked was the option to put your number and squad on your aeroplane. Just a simple thing but it really is handy.

I just want to see the community come back together again and TFS getting to relax fly and enjoy all of their hard work. Oh..and toss in a healthy dose of 50 Cal's ripping through some in supecting poor sap...

One thing I'm looking forward to are the inevitable new nicknames and slang that we'll come up with to describe bits and places of the new map. Like we have "crab's legs", "Sandy spit", "Hell's Corner", "the Trifields", etc, so surely there will be some fun new names to come up with.
