WW-2 maps, any digital versions ?

Eyup everyone, new user here.Just got into CLOD but a long time computer flight sim user ( as in 8 bit micros onwards )

Anyone got any links for scans or digital versions of aviation maps from the WW-2 era ? I had a genuine set of RAF ones but sold them while down on my luck a few years ago. I'd like to get something I can print out to assist my lousy grasp of geography. Currently I have no idea where any of the RAF stations are - which is pretty ironic seeing as I recently moved to Kent in real life

Thanks very much. I never bothered to examine the program directory because I am an idiot

For an encore I suppose I could try reading the manual as well

For me Chuck's Guide was essential reading.

VO-101Tom has the ultimate set. I printed the La Manche 1940 map (twice, gave a copy away to 69th_Pug) at 48"x36" and built a navigator's desk just to use it.

I would recommend checking calculations on major airways using the tool, and then going hardcore and doing paper & compass only. It is very accurate in-game...within seconds if you're careful.

I like to do flight planning and test low level navigation that way.

So sad you lost your originals.

Thanks ! I found the aviation slide rules on that page and ended up going down that rabbit hole as well
