Nice. I really miss the variety in Il2 but I have spent too long in Cliffs Of Dover to go back to those graphics. Don't take that the wrong way, IL2-46 is awesome, you just used to something new and can't adjust to going back. It's depressing that CLOD will never have even half the variety of IL2-46 and IL2 will never have the graphics and improvements of CLOD.

I currently have a digital copy of IL-2 1946 that's patched up to 4.11.1m but for some reason I can't get the new 4.12 patch to install. Does anyone know if there is an incompatibility issue between 4.11.1m and 4.12??

No, work fine. The patch 4.12 install took only ~ 30s - just need inform the path to install.

It's depressing that CLOD will never have even half the variety of IL2-46...

IL-2 1946 was a ten year process.

CLIFFS OF DOVER only really began in January of this year. We are in the process of overcoming a lot of big obstacles right now, but if the Team can stay the course and the community keeps its interest, there is no reason not to think CoD will have some great frontiers and experiences to offer.

I said it the first time I saw what you guys were working on and planning to do, and I say it now.The future is brighter than ever.Whoever says Cliffs of Dover is dead has been living under a rock for the past few months.

Does anyone know how to get toe brakes (CH pedals) for differential braking working in 4.12.2m? I have them working in my 4.10.1 DBW/UP install, but don't have the option of selecting them from the controls menu in 4.12.2m.

This is a feature not made for 4.12 and you could ask for this feature before the release of 4.13. We made this possible in DBW pack and it is a relatively easy mod to do. So it should not be difficult for them

Hi all,

As I am new to this forum I hope this is the right place to place my help question, if not, my apoligises.

By coïncidence I found my old Ubisoft IL2Sturmovik 1946 DVD-rom and installed it on my Win7 gaming laptop. It worked. Then I discovered that there were patches (1.1, 1.2, skins409, 4.10, 410.1, 412, 412.1) which I installed all. Now when I start the game by clicking the icon it tries to start, the startscreen flashes by for 3/4 seconds and then it's over. I tried to start as administrator, I tried to start in XP servicepack3 mode, but no go. I also tried a cack-exe, also no go. Then I did the same installation with patches on a very old XP-machine, also only a flashing startscreen.

Suggestions for a solution are most welcome!
