I've installed ( and re-installed TS3), followed the tutorials, everything is fine including the sound level setting. But I can't find anyway to activate the microphone.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Are you trying to activate PTT off a joystick or throttle button?
If so, you'll need to install this: Gamepad and Joystick Hotkey Support addon
God only knows why it doesn't come as part of the standard install!

This may help you. Last week there was a Nvidia video card driver update- my son tells me. I did not know this- because I don't really check that stuff. Drivers auto-updated and caused a conflict between my TS and the Nvidia audio driver - I think.
After a great deal of chasing after sound settings that were fine- I did a system restore to about a week ago. This reset whatever TS settings / Nvidia audio settings and now my TS works as it did. Another player- Mustache- had been missing from comms for a few days- he finally types in chat " help! " - and I threw him this info- he applied these measures- and his TS also works now. Good luck. If you do not have a Nvidia card- then perhaps others can help you. Good luck mate.
Blast you soon!

I was facing some problem with the microphone in a few pages in my browser. Then I tried to forcefully allow the microphone and change it but suddenly chrome keeps crashing which was creating huge problem. The chrome is now not responding at all.
So Accipter when you get into the ts3 setup window
MIC 2.PNG
and set your push to talk key, then begin test, nothing happens?
If you go to this window does it show that a push to talk key is active?

Also. I am sure you have done this, but when I could not get any sound from my mic the other week i realized that i has the sound turned down

After some problems involving starting the game as well as TeamSpeak sound/Microphone problems, I discovered in Windows Device Manager that many of my devices, especially Universal Serial Bus controllers' "Power Management" features had uncommanded changes: The "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option boxes had been checked. This historically has caused problems in CLoD.
It's a tedious chore to examine EVERY device in the Windows Device Manager in order to assure that this power management feature is NOT enabled, but it's a half-hour well spent if you're having troubles. It seems to have helped me.
My recent downloaded changes include NVIDIA Drivers, as well as the recent Windows 10 improvement updates but I have no proof which is the culprit.

Hallo all.
I am unable to activate my microphone.
Can someone give me some advice?
The blue ball at your name shows that your mic is already active and not muted in teamspeak itself.
You might have other issues, wrong mic chosen in teamspeak. Mic settings in windows might have changed during a reset, unplug or a change in ID and while old ID got removed during a fresh recognizing.
If you have problems, check in the inputs of teamspeak or in windows if your correct mic is still chosen.
run TS3 as admin aswell, can do some weird things like work fine on desktop then not work whilst in games.
