Hi Guy's,
Just a quick question, does the White Cross-T marker go with the head of the T where you are to land or take-off?
The windsock is usually right next to it so you take off from the head of the T??
Many thanks if you can help.

Hi SD_MBen......I have always taken the white cross T marker to be the marker for the head/threshold of the active runway. If you then turn to face the yellow boards you know you are taking off into wind.
Whatever you do, don't run over the white T marker, or else it's ....'BOOM!' Salute!
