You're a very cunning opponent, DRock - love it!

How about you take starting position B?

I think that is a brilliant idea! I agree with Yo, Having multiple people in the air are problematic.

I wonder if there are object people can get into to watch the event. Items like a chair, or bleachers... etc.

Heck if someone trys flying the A1 I'd love to sit in the second seat as a spectator.[as long as I do not become a designated gunner]

Too bad spectators can’t sit in a g50 or something. The open canopy would make viewing a lot better. That upper wing on the moth is restricting at times.

I found the ‘follow friendly’ view to be the best one. No TrackIR needed.

Champions don’t use runways. I will all ready be airborne for my fights.

I have about two weeks to milk this champion thing, because I’m not getting that lucky twice in a row.lol

My favourite primary trainer was the De Havilland Chipmunk... designed in Canada.

It used the identical engine as the Tiger Moth, but was a low wing monoplane with a stressed skin all aluminum construction... managed to be as fast as the Fairchild with a lot less hp.

Also very maneuverable... nearly as good as the Tiger Moth. Used by the RAF as a trainer right up to 1996.

If I ever was able to afford an aircraft, this would be on my list of go to types.

Fully acrobatic, and a ton of fun to fly.

Anyways, you guys are in charge of this, the map is just a suggestion.

    Good day chaps!

Not entirely sure of my schedule over the next few weeks, but think I might fit at least some time in.

Was wondering if I could be put down as a spectator by any chance?

Might be good to get involved properly with the chaps

    Cheers

Had an absolute ball chaps! Thanks to all who participated!
Looking forward to the next one!
Gotta love the fact that we lost more on the ground than in the air by about half xD

Great for getting more of a feel for multiplayer dogfights
Would 100% encourage all newcomers to ATAG and or Cliffs to come along to one of the upcoming events, great bunch of guys and you are bound to get some priceless tips!

Here are some screenshots I managed to snap, including the best end-of-fight head-on, and some neat shots of Robo's big ol' pink machine

I think "props" goes to Scone for the most wounded successful landing!

Also heard something about an obstacle race course event in the cooking pot??? ;D

What great fun the Tiger Moth Shootup is! I had a ball last night! Thanks Yotheguy, Lord Wukits, Kiwifieger, all the participants, and everyone working behind the scenes - truly a great bunch of peeps!

Congrats to the winner, Tibsun, who is still a very formidable opponent even with most of his wings missing!

Vroom Vroom. Stay tuned. Paint up your Su-26s and practice hitting your apexes, avoiding trees, and diving through hangars.

(The most important part is painting the Su-26s though. Can't race without a cool racing paint job.)
