There were pilots from nearly every occupied country in the RAF... some in national Squadrons like No. 310... most had escaped from Europe and made their way to England.
They were an important part of the effort against Nazi Germany.

There were many pilots in Czechoslovakia and some had to fly in Luftwaffe .
