Rudder Pedals on a budget - advice needed please

Can only afford either Thrustmaster T Flight Rudder Pedals or Saitek Pro Flight Pedals.
    Am leaning towards Saitek because:-
    a) Pedals further apart ( I prefer a centre stick and am 6 foot tall, size 11 feet and not the slimmest either
    b) Tension adjustment

Anyone have any major pros or cons with either of these two products. Both come with 2 year warranty, which is good enough for me on a budget

    Thanks in advance

I've upgraded, but certainly enjoyed the Saitek Pro Flight Pedals while I used them.

My feet are 11 1/2 and were quite comfortable on the pedals.

If you live close enough that the postage wouldn't be a killer, I would sell mine to you at a reasonable price.

Special deal for you! Cheap and best!

You can PM me if interested mcb.

    Hi mcbailey.

I have been using a set of Saitek pro flight pedals for the last two years which I got second hand, and they haven't let me down as yet.

I have heard others report problems with the toe brakes failing with the Saiteks, but like I said, I haven't had any issues with mine

    Intel i5-2500 CPU @3.30GHZ Quad core , NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Ti , 8GB RAM , Windows 10 pro 64-Bit, ASUS VS 278 27" Monitor , Microsoft Sidewinder 2 Joystick

Saitek pro Flight Yoke, quadrant and rudder pedals

Of the budget" range options, the most reliable, durable and easy to repair - upgrade, is CH PRO Pedals.
In matter of size (width)* is more close to TFRP than Saitek.

    * This remember me an ingenious "mod" that an guy did with CH Pedal, he saw the base in three parts, extended the rudder bar, fix all over a wood plank, having a wider CH Pedal.

    Even the appearance improved, not?

Just need a better (sturdy) cable for "toe brakes" wiring.

An used pedal from eBay is good candidate to this, plus an upgrade in USB controller resolution (CH "Achiles Heel"), eg. MMJoy2.

The Saitek Pro Flight Rudder is pretty decent for the average folks. I've have mine for over eight years now and no problem. However, I left it in the garage for two months, in southern California summer. And the all rubber grip strip on the footrest/pedal harden and broke off. It is a real pain to clean and remove the residues with 99% isopropyl alcohol used.
