There are a few good posts here about it, and Bonkin wrote up some excellent posts about weather and clouds over on the ACG forums.

    Hi Spirit,

I have spend a lot of time looking at those post, a single place that says what can or can't do will be appreciated. I am just doing a mission that requires a simple wind change.

Since you were looking for mission builders I suspect you will implement improvements to the FMB. Please make the weather manipulable.

But weather is manipulable - in that "CloD way", perhaps just not in the way you want.

Bonkin article show what work, what don't work - some weather features are not finished, the (OM) excuse is that the computers of the time did not catch on with their "advanced" features.

CloD is this, certain things work, others no, and others work just in an given way. And anyone know all about.

Look at 1c forum CloD (now dead) forum - FMB section, how much people "deciphered" about FMB in early years, but most of this people give up due unfixed bugs, are no longer involved with CloD, much of this knowledge is probable now lost.
